The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems hosted an expert lecture titled “Introduction to Various Fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science” on July 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Departmental Seminar Hall. The session was attended by 95 students.

The objective of the program was to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by introducing students to key concepts in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The lecture featured two distinguished resource persons: Mr. Abhishek Mishra, CEO of Alexler Infotech Pvt Ltd and an alumnus, and Mr. Anand Saxena, Director of Alexler Infotech, with over 16 years of experience at organizations such as TCS and Wipro.

The session covered topics including D2C e-commerce business analytics, the role of data analyst consultants in global markets, junior data science roles, and insights into working with international firms. Coordinated by Prof. Rushikesh Shete, the lecture provided students with practical exposure and an understanding of career opportunities in AI and Data Science.

The program concluded with a positive outcome, as students gained clarity on AI concepts and felt motivated by the experiences shared by the speakers, enabling them to better understand industry expectations in software development and data analytics.
