Hands-On Workshops on Cybersecurity & AI/ML and Hackathon– Coding, Problem-Solving & Innovation
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) successfully organized a two-day Hands-On Workshop on Cybersecurity & Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning on 24th and 25th September 2025, followed by an exciting Hackathon Showdown on 26th September 2025, under the banner of Turing Nessus Forum.
The first day of the workshop was conducted in BS 14, focusing on fundamental and practical concepts of Cybersecurity, while the second day, held in BS 18, explored key applications and techniques of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through interactive sessions and live demonstrations led by Prof. Yash Rajurkar.
On the third day, a high-energy Hackathon was conducted in BT 13, where participants showcased their creativity and coding expertise by developing innovative projects addressing real-world challenges.
The hackathon was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Prof. Yash Rajurkar, along with Guest of Honour, Dr. Ashish Badiye(HOD Forensic Science ,GIFS, Nagpur). Our Hon’ble HOD, Dr. Abhishek Pathak, and event Coordinator Prof. Vikas G. Singh also motivated and encouraged the participants to continue exploring cutting-edge technologies.
Students from various colleges in the Nagpur actively participated, presenting a variety of innovative solutions and projects, reflecting their technical talent, creativity, and collaborative spirit.
