Expert Session by Alumni on “Connecting Academic Learning with Industry Practice”
The Department of Vocational Studies, St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET), Nagpur, successfully organized an Expert Session by Alumni for First Year B.Voc students (Software Development and Cyber Security) on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The session was delivered by Ms. Vaishnavi Vaidya, an esteemed alumna of the Batch 2024, currently working as a Cloud Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Pune.
The expert talk was centered on the topic “Connecting Academic Learning with Industry Practice”, with the objective of helping first-year students understand how classroom learning aligns with real-world industry requirements.
During the session, Ms. Vaidya shared her professional journey, insights into the IT and cloud computing industry, and emphasized the importance of:
