The Mechanical Engineering department hosted Mechmerise, a vibrant departmental event that showcased students' technical skills and innovative spirit.  This year, Mechmerise was organized on 10th October.

2025. The event was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of the chief guest, Mr. Adit Chaturvedi ( Assistant General Manager, Ashok Leyland Limited, Bhandara) and the Guest of Honour, Ms. Shruti Thakre(Alumni of Batch 2023).

The event featured even electrifying competitions that tested participants' skills in various aspects of mechanical engineering. Under the banner of Mechmerise 2025, various technical workshops, competitions, and non-technical (Fun) activities were organized, such as:

• CAD Clash (3-D CAD modeling,workshop, and Competition)

• EV-Edge (E-Vehicle Training and Quiz)

• Start-up Genesis (Start-up idea presentation petition)

• Roboarena( A robotic battle competition )

• EscapeX (Technical Quiz and escape room competition)

• 3V3 Showdown (3 on 3 Basketball tournament)

• Race Ready( A thrilling racing competition)

All the events received a respectable number of responses and participation. A total 332 nos.of participants actively took part in different events, and the total budget of the Mechmerise 2025 was  of around rs 30000. Overall, Mechmerise 2025 was planned, coordinated by a core organizing team under the guidance of Faculty Coordinator Dr. V.C.Sontake and Co-Coordinator Dr. B.S. Bhaskar.  

After completion of all events best performers in respective events were scrutinized and awarded cash prizes. Mr. Kartik Pharande (Final year ME) was the overall student coordinator, and Mr Vedant Giri and Yashshvi Bhoyar (Third year ME) was the overall student Co-coordinator.
