Farewell Programme in Honour of Prof. Gowardhan
A heartfelt farewell was organised on 8th October, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, followed by dinner, to honour Prof. Gowardhan, the Institute Mentor who has been associated with the institution since its very inception. The event brought together teaching and non-teaching staff, members of the Management Committee, and the Pallottine Fathers, all gathered to express their gratitude for his distinguished service.
The evening featured a cultural programme presented by both students and staff, adding warmth and celebration to the occasion.
During the ceremony, faculty members Dr. Kishore Borakhede (Associate Dean, CDC), Dr. Manoj Bramhe (HOD, CSE), and Prof. Aditya Khandare (College Alumnus) fondly recalled their memories of Prof. Gowardhan, highlighting his exceptional contributions as both a teacher and an administrator.
Members of the Management Committee — Dr. Vijay Wadhai, Dr. Prashant Maheshwary, Fr. Paul Chandrankunnel, and Fr. Siju Jose — offered their farewell messages, appreciating his dedication and guidance. The Pallottine Fathers — Fr. George Madeikkal (Former Director), Fr. Johnson Putur (Former Financial Administrator), and the Chairman — also shared their experiences of working with him over the years.
In his valedictory address, Prof. Gowardhan expressed his gratitude to all staff members for their cooperation throughout his remarkable 21-year tenure. He also extended heartfelt thanks to the Fathers of the Nagpur Pallottine Society for their unwavering support.
