The Department of Artificial Intelligence organized an industrial visit to the Maharashtra State Remote Sensing Application Centre (MRSAC), Nagpur, on 5th August 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM for the students of the 3rd Semester as part of their academic exposure to geospatial technologies and their applications in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The purpose of the visit was to provide students with hands-on exposure to real-time applications of geospatial technologies, remote sensing, and GIS in various domains, including agriculture, water resources, urban planning, and disaster management.

A total of 59 students and one faculty member participated in this industrial visit. The visit was coordinated by Prof. Sachin S. Patil, under the guidance of Dr. Vikas Bhowate, Head of the AI Department.
