The Department of Industrial IoT organized a Parents–Teachers Interaction on 20th September 2025, from 09:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the departmental S-06 classroom. The objective of the event was to strengthen communication between faculty, students, and parents while showcasing the academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular achievements of the department. The program was coordinated by Prof. Rajeshwari Shinde, Prof. Tushar Aneyrao, and Prof. Snehal Shingode.

The interaction began with a warm welcome, followed by an address from Dr. Shriraghavan Madbushi, Head of the Department, who introduced the faculty members and highlighted departmental initiatives such as industrial visits, collaborations with reputed institutes like IIIT Hyderabad and VNIT Nagpur, and internship opportunities. Dr. Madbushi also shared notable student achievements in academics, research, and extracurricular activities. The session covered topics including academic performance, NPTEL and certification achievements, research projects, internship placements, participation in sports and cultural events, entrepreneurship initiatives such as the DESCAM startup, innovation awards including a patent grant and an MSME-funded eYantra project, and student successes in events like the VNIT 5G Summer School.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to parents, faculty, and students for their support. The event successfully provided a platform for transparent communication, recognition of student accomplishments, and reinforced the department’s commitment to nurturing holistic development and fostering talent among its students.
