Guest Lecture Session on Emerging Technologies & Career Opportunities under the CSI Student Chapter

The Department of Information Technology, in collaboration with the CSI Student Chapter, successfully organized a Guest Lecture Session on Emerging Technologies & Career Opportunities on 15th September 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Devashish Rao, Program Manager at TCS, who brought over 15 years of rich industry experience to the discussion.

Mr. Rao provided a comprehensive overview of the future scope of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security, and Cloud Computing, emphasizing their growing relevance in shaping modern careers. He also discussed strategic approaches to skill-building, including industry-recognized certifications that enhance employability. His insights into job market trends and real-world applications helped students understand how to align their learning with industry expectations.

Mr. Rao also highlighted the various job opportunities available in the IT domain and discussed how students can strategically plan their skillsets. He provided guidance on certifications that add industry value, helping students stand out in a competitive job market.
