The Department of Computer Engineering, under the ACM Student Chapter, organized a Power BI Workshop on 30th January 2025 at BF-05 for second-year Computer Engineering students of Section A. The event was coordinated by Prof. Yogita Nikhare (Faculty Coordinator) and Ms. Manasvi Giradkar (Student Coordinator), with support from ACM volunteers Mayur Aglawe, Gargi Gundawar, Paritosh Magare, Ayush Kshirsagar, and Atharva Bhede under the guidance of Dr. Pallavi Wankhede ACM Officer.

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Atharva Bhede (Technical Lead) and aimed at providing students with hands-on experience in data visualization and analysis using Power BI. The agenda included the installation and setup of Power BI, data extraction and transformation techniques, report generation, and an overview of advanced features. Student coordinators, along with volunteers, actively guided participants through the exercises, ensuring a smooth and interactive learning process.

Throughout the session, students showcased a keen interest and enthusiasm, engaging in discussions and clarifying queries with the mentors. The practical, activity-based format helped them apply their knowledge in real time, enhancing both understanding and confidence.

Overall, the workshop was a successful initiative, equipping students with the ability to design interactive dashboards, visualize data, and create professional reports, thereby strengthening their foundation in data-driven decision-making.
