On 8th August 2025, the Mechanical Engineering Department organized an industrial visit for 32 students of the 7th semester to Kinetic Gears, MIDC Hingna, Nagpur. The visit began at 10:00 a.m. and was coordinated by Prof. Shantanu Kolharkar. Faculty members Dr. P. S. Nerkar, Prof. Namrata Nagpurkar, and Prof. Anthony Augustine accompanied the students.

At the facility, students were welcomed by Mr. Deepak Dhone, the industry resource person, who provided an overview of the company’s products, manufacturing processes, and quality control systems. The visit covered key sections such as gear cutting, heat treatment, and inspection units, giving students exposure to advanced machinery and production techniques.

The interaction helped bridge theoretical learning with industrial applications, enhancing students’ practical understanding.
