Dr. Mohan Godse, a renowned NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) expert and former R&D Head at Ford Motors, USA, visited the Mechanical Engineering Department on August 1, 2025. He was impressed by the department's facilities and showed interest in the Vibration Measurement DAQ setup and Multi Fault Simulator setup.

His visit to the lab facilities highlights the department's strong focus on practical learning and industry-relevant research.

Dr. Godse discussed various methods for analyzing and mitigating NVH issues in vehicles, such as modal analysis, operational deflection shape analysis, and sound quality metrics.

His experience and knowledge make him an invaluable resource for students in the field of automotive engineering and NVH analysis.
