An industrial visit was organised on 2nd August 2025, between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, for third-semester (37 students) and seventh-semester (3 students) students of the Mechanical Engineering Department to BCCL Times of India Press, located at E6 MIDC, Butibori, Nagpur. The visit aimed to give students practical exposure to industrial processes and real-time applications of mechanical engineering concepts.

The students were warmly welcomed and guided by Mr. Ajiinkya Gokhale, Plant Head, and his team, comprising Mr. Manish Zade, Mr. Ajay Gupta, and Mr. Devendra Mangre. The resource persons gave an insightful presentation and walkthrough of the press facility, showcasing high-speed newspaper printing operations, mechanical systems, automation, and quality control mechanisms.

Faculty members Dr. Manish Bhadke, Dr. Saifullah Khan, Prof. Sandhya Umare, and Prof. Anthony Augustine ensured smooth execution and active student engagement throughout the visit. The industrial visit proved to be a highly enriching experience for the students, bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial practice.
