Department of Civil Engineering in association with ICI Students Chapter had organize expert session on topic “Current Practices in Steel Structures Design” on Tuesday, April 08, 2025, 11:15 am – 1:15 pm for the students of 3^rd Year Civil Engineering Department. The session aimed to provide insights into the critical aspects of Structural Steel in the civil engineering industry and inspiration to pursue specialized knowledge in Steel Structures also its role in modern infrastructure development. The expert was Er. Suneel Voditel, Technical Director, Techture Structures Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur.

Er. Suneel Voditel , a renowned expert in structural engineering with extensive experience in steel structure analysis and design delivered an excellent session. The presentation was comprehensive, addressing both theoretical concepts and practical challenges faced during the design and implementation of steel structures.

He shared the latest advancements, challenges and best practices related to the design, construction & maintenance of steel structures. The primary aim of the session was to enhance students understanding of steel as a material and its application in modern construction projects.

The expert session was highly informative and inspiring for the students. It broadened their understanding of steel structures and highlighted its significance in shaping modern infrastructure. Students asked question to the expert and he had answered all the questions.
