The Civil Engineering Department of St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur had organized a Parent-Teacher meeting on Saturday 5^th April 2025 in the Civil Engineering Department from 10:00 am onwards. The main purpose of the meet was to provide a common platform, where teachers and parents came together to enrich the student’s educational experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all round development of students.

The formal function began with a welcome address by Prof. Sujin George, followed by talk by Dr. Abhay Hirekhan (HOD, Civil) where he briefed the overall scenario of placements in Civil Engineering and proudly spoke on the paid internships undergone by the final semester students. The toppers of 3^rd, 5^th & 7^th semester were felicitated with cash prizes by the hands of Dr. Abhay Hirekhan and Prof. Ram Kinhikar. 

Post the conclusion of the function, the parents went to meet the respective class counselors and subject teachers, and discussed about the academic performance of their wards like class attendance, mid-semester exam result and about the overall discipline in the campus. Snack boxes were served as refreshment to the parents and students after the program. Overall, it was a healthy session between the parents and the teachers.
