The Department of Information Technology, St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology hosted the department legacy event "I-Connect-24-25", on 5^th April 2025. This event offers students a great opportunity to network with representatives from the industry and facilitates important chances for professional development.

During the event, more than 200 students were inspired and motivated by the distinguished panelists who shared their thoughts on "The Future of Work: AI, Automation & IT Careers." These panelists included Mr. Ranjit Singh, MD & CEO of Syslogyx Technologies, Nagpur; Dr. Suman Sengupta, Northern Lights Analytics, Nagpur; Mr. Allan Abrahim, SS Infotech, Nagpur; Ms. Anushka Thakre, TCS, Nagpur; and Mr. Chinmay Pohane, Counselor, IDP Education India Nagpur, inspired and motivated them with her thoughts on "The Future of Work: AI, Automation & IT Careers." By talking about current IT careers in the business and opportunities in the age of automation and artificial intelligence, the event's main goal was to close the gap between academics and industry.
