As per internship policy, internship mentors are expected to visit the industry where the students are undergoing internship. So, as a part of this, Dr. V.C. Sontake and Dr. M.K. Bhadke visited KEC International Ltd, MIDC, Bhansoli Nagpur on 08th April 2025. Currently, 03 students from the Mechanical Engineering department Ms. Avanti Ghodvaidya, Mr. Nidhish Pohane and Mr. Aryan Mahajan are undergoing their internship. The primary objective of the visit was to monitor the progress and ensure the learning of the students at the industry allotted. The other objective was to explore the opportunity of placement of these students through this internship. Both the faculty mentors met with Mr. Praveen Singh, DGM (Operations) and Mr. Mukesh Pawar ( HOD, Production). Mr. Praveen Singh took the mentors to the different sections of the plant and updated them about different projects assigned to the 03 interns. During the discussion, different issues like daily attendance, sincerity, involvement, keenness to learn and task completion by the 03 interns were discussed. The visit was quite fruitful and will contribute to the efforts of the  Mechanical Engineering department to provide quality internships to the students. It was also an opportunity for the faculty mentors to witness the latest trends and technology adopted by industry concerns.
