The Department of Engineering, Sciences & Humanities organized a guest lecture for first-year students of Section I (Electrical Engineering) and Section L (Mechanical Engineering) as part of its co-curricular activities on March 5, 2025. The session featured Mr. Raunak Patki, owner of Naren Agricultural Machinery and an esteemed alumnus of SVPCET, Mechanical Engineering.
The objective of the session was to provide students with industry insights, expose them to real-world engineering applications, and inspire entrepreneurial thinking. Mr. Patki discussed technological advancements in agricultural machinery, the importance of sustainability, and the role of innovation in addressing industry challenges. He also shared his entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the obstacles he faced and the strategies he employed for business growth.
The session was attended by faculty members and first-year students. During the Q&A segment, students actively participated, asking questions about career opportunities, automation in agriculture, and the essential skills required for engineers.
