The Department of Artificial Intelligence installed AI Prabodha, its student forum, which aims to shape visionaries, build innovators, and create leaders in the field of AI on 27/02/2025. The official launch event featured a series of activities, including a welcome address, the traditional lighting of the lamp, scripture reading, guest introductions, and an inaugural address by Dr. Vikas Bhowate. The event also saw the unveiling of the AI Prabodha logo and webpage.

Dignitaries present on the occasion were Mr. Shivam Joshi, Executive Director of Codons, Principal Dr. Vijay Wadhai, and Director of SVPCET Dr. Fr. Paul Chandrakunnel, with Mr. Nirmal Gaud, Founder & CEO of ThinkAI, and Mrs. Aishwarya Nandkumar, Data Scientist at Togo Labs, joining online. Fr. Paul and Dr. Wadhai addressed the gathering, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to AI education and the ethical use of AI. They further distributed badges, and the oath-taking ceremony officially inducted the forum members.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem, all coordinated by the AI Prabodha Core Team, led by faculty coordinators and student representatives. The organizing team included Prof. Pooja Wagh and Prof. Snehal Awachat as faculty coordinators, along with student members such as Atharva Bamnote, Riddhi Sontakke, Aliasgar Kagajwala, Om Gawande, Sayali Kohale, Arya Malviya, Kartik Barnala, Smit Biswas, Aryan Rangari, Manashree Jibhkate, Aditi Parshivanikar, and Vedanti Chaudhary. AI Prabodha is dedicated to empowering students to dream big, innovate fearlessly, and lead the AI revolution, driving the future of AI.
