Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA)

The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell launched its official website and two mobile applications on March 10, 2025. These digital platforms aim to enhance rural community services, focusing on healthcare and education. The launch event was graced by dignitaries, including Director Fr. Paul Chandrankunnel and Principal Dr. Vijay Wadhai, alongside students and faculty members.

During the event, 40 meritorious students from the 2023-24 and 2025-26 batches were awarded UBA certifications for their contributions to various UBA projects. Two key mobile applications were introduced:

  1. SVPCET Gram Arogya Seva App – Facilitates access to basic healthcare in rural villages.
  2. Edusahayog App – Enhances the quality of education in village schools by supporting teachers and students.

The event's success was driven by Event Coordinator: Dr. Pallavi Wankhede  (Computer Engineering) Event Coordinator and Mentor: Dr. Ashutosh S. Werulkar (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering)

The various projects developed under the UBA initiative were supported and guided by a team of distinguished faculty members:

The event witnessed participation from approximately 150 students, 10 faculty members, and Heads of Departments, reflecting strong support from the academic community.

The newly launched UBA website (https://uba.stvincentngp.edu.in) is fully responsive and accessible on both desktop and mobile devices.
