On February 20, 2025, 30 students from the ISHRAE Students Chapter (Mechanical Engineering 2nd & 3rd year) embarked on a visit to ACREX 2025 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bangalore. Accompanied by faculty coordinators Dr. B.S. Bhaskar and Prof. Namrata A. Nagpurkar, the students gained valuable exposure to cutting-edge technologies in the HVAC sector.

This visit provided a unique opportunity for our students to learn from industry experts and witness the latest innovations in air conditioning, refrigeration, and building services.

At ISHRAE Stall we met the Marketing head (ISHRAE), Mr. Manan Vora. He was part of the organizing team of ACREX. He advised students to get the concepts of HVAC by asking their questions to the exhibitors, no matter how small they might seem. He asked us to contact the local chapter to attend seminars online. Some books on ISHRAE were exhibited depicting fundamentals and some on the latest trends. Local chapters can provide it at a reduced cost to the students. The team could enhance their knowledge of the latest trends in HVAC and could get contacts for the industry internship.
