Technex-25

St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, successfully hosted the national-level technical competition, Technex-25, on January 20th and 21st, 2025 aims to foster technological innovation and scientific thinking among engineering students, providing a platform for young engineers to enhance and showcase their skills.

Technex-25 attracted over 2,500 enthusiastic participants from more than 50 engineering colleges across India. The event featured a series of challenging competitions designed to test and enhance the technical prowess of the students. Participants engaged in various technical events, workshops, and seminars, all aimed at promoting innovation and practical skills in engineering. The winners of these events were rewarded with a total prize money of ₹6.5 lakhs, acknowledging their exceptional abilities and dedication.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Pratap Khanwilkar, Director of Master's Programs and Professor of Practice at the Swanson School of Engineering, University of Pittsburgh. With over four decades of experience in medical technology innovation and commercialization, Dr. Khanwilkar's insightful keynote address inspired participants to delve into the realms of innovation and embrace the evolving landscape of technology.

The President of the ceremony, Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singal, Commissioner of Police, Nagpur, also addressed the gathering. Dr. Singal, a distinguished police officer, emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and continuous learning in achieving success.

Technex-25 was a resounding success, fulfilling its mission to enhance the technical skills of students and promote innovation in engineering. The event not only provided a competitive platform for budding engineers but also facilitated knowledge exchange through interactions with esteemed professionals like Dr. Khanwilkar and Dr. Singal.
