St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology in Nagpur recently hosted Udyamotsav 2025, an event organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This initiative served as a dedicated fundraising platform for early-stage startups, offering entrepreneurs the opportunity to connect with leading investors.

The event garnered significant attention from leading newspapers, highlighting its impact on fostering innovation and investment in India's startup ecosystem. Notably, St. Vincent Pallotti College was selected as one of only 14 institutions across India—and one of just two in Maharashtra—to host this prestigious event.

The inauguration was graced by Mr. Amit Kale, Associate Vice President of Engineering at GlobalLogic, while the valedictory session featured Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director of IIM Nagpur, as the Chief Guest.

Esteemed investors dedicated to nurturing early-stage startups participated, including Mr. Jaikumar Vaswani, Founder of JSK Financial Planner, Nagpur; Dr. Ritu Jain Gaurav, CTO of U2U Systems, Singapore; Dr. Deepak Motwani, Principal – Investor Relations at Wadhwani Foundation; Mr. Chandrakant Zoting, Director of Fourwayz Distributors Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Ajay Saraf,  Director of "Bushel Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Kunal Chitore,,  partner at Modern Electronic Mall. Their involvement was invaluable, serving as catalysts for change and enablers of dreams within the startup ecosystem.

The expertise and guidance of Nodal Heads AICTE—Mr. Umesh Rathod and Mr. Mayur Borkar—were invaluable to upcoming entrepreneurs, offering them much-needed support and wisdom.

Twelve teams from across India, including the host city, benefited from the platform and pitched their ideas to the observant investors.

The college's commitment to driving innovation, promoting entrepreneurial ventures, and strengthening industry-academia collaboration was evident throughout the event.
