Our institute has been designated as a Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs by COEP Technological University, Pune, under the initiative led by the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Under this, a workshop "Use of Virtual Labs" was organized on 23-9-2024 for the students and faculty of the Mechanical Engineering Department at F-03 Computer Lab (Virtual lab), 1st floor, A block, SVPCET. Mr. Amod Harankhedkar, Outreach Engineer, Virtual lab, COEP Technological University demonstrated the performance of the virtual lab.

74 students from 2nd and 3rd year B. Tech Mechanical Engineering were addressed starting from 9 A.M. onwards. The faculties of Mechanical Engineering also attended this workshop. They registered to virtual labs of COEP and performed experiments.

The students enthusiastically asked various queries related to the performance of simulation in virtual labs and were glad that they had a tool through which they could perform experiments online irrespective of time and place. They were glad that this tool would help them to widen their knowledge.

This workshop was coordinated by Prof. Namrata A. Nagpurkar, Nodal Centre coordinator-Virtual labs, St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur.
