Flutter Workshop

The ACM Student Chapter of the Department of Computer Engineering hosted a two-day workshop on "Flutter" on August 27th and 30th, 2024, specifically designed for second-year students. Section A attended on Day 1, while Section B participated on Day 2. The workshop was led by committed third-year students: Mr. Parth Upadhye (team lead), Mr. Nakul Armarkar, Ms. Elasha Deoghare, and Mr. Rudraksha Asati, with guidance from Prof. Pallavi Wankhede, an ACM officer Incharge and mentor.

The agenda included setting up the Flutter development environment, an introduction to the Dart programming language, and hands-on exercises where students built basic applications. The workshop also covered the history, benefits, and significance of Flutter for developing cross-platform applications for both Android and iOS.

Students exhibited a dynamic and enthusiastic attitude throughout the sessions. The interactive format allowed them to apply their learning in real time, ensuring they left with a solid foundation in Flutter and the confidence to use it in their projects. Overall, the workshop was a success, equipping students with valuable skills and knowledge in Flutter development and preparing them to undertake their own app development projects using this powerful toolkit.
