On August 31, 2024, St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, hosted a highly insightful guest lecture and hands-on training session on “Literature Review & Research Tools.” by Dr. Ashish Linge, a distinguished faculty member at C P Berar College and a resource person at RTMNU, Nagpur. Dr. Minhaj Ahemad Rehman, the Head of R&D and Research Centre of Mechanical Engineering at our institute, meticulously coordinated the session along with Dr. B.S.Bhaskar and Prof. Manish Bhadke.

The event commenced with a welcome ceremony for Dr. Linge by Dr. Sushant Satputaley, Head of the Mechanical Department, and Prof. Anil Pachchhao, Dean of the Exams cell. An engaging lecture was delivered by Dr. Linge, who provided a comprehensive overview of effective literature review techniques and the utilisationr of various research tools essential for PhD scholars. Dr. Linge's expertise and practical insights offered valuable guidance in navigating academic research complexities and enhancing scholarly work quality.

Following the lecture, Dr Linge conducted a hands-on training session where participants could apply the knowledge gained in real-time. The interactive workshop covered advanced research tools and methodologies, allowing the attendees to gain practical experience in conducting literature reviews and utilising research resources effectively.

The session was attended by over 25 faculty members and PhD research scholars, who actively participated in the discussions and practical exercises. The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the session's relevance and the practical value of the skills imparted.
