Department of Civil Engineering organized an Interaction with alumni on August 26, 2024, for second and final year students.The objective of this session was to broaden the career perspectives of civil engineering students by introducing them to alumni who have transitioned into the banking sector. The event focused on exploring non-traditional career paths and understanding how civil engineering skills can be applied in banking, finance, and management roles.

 The speaker was Ms. Shefali khiratkar, Alumni 2022 Batch, working in IDFC Bank Mumbai with a package of 10 Lakhs. She chose her career in Management and completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

Students engaged with the alumni through an open Q&A session, discussing the skills needed to transition into banking and the relevance of an engineering background in financial services.
