On 3rd August 2024, a one-day industrial visit to Spacewood Office Solutions Pvt Ltd. SZ-13, Butibori MIDC, Nagpur- 441122, was organised by the Department of Mechanical for its 5th Semester students.

Spacewood Office Solutions (SOS) is a one-stop solutions provider in the business of office furniture, with a comprehensive range of products, including seating, collaborative solutions, technology-integrated wellness products and acoustic solutions for new-age offices.

The students were welcomed by a Management of Spacewood, Mr Aniket Joshi, Mr Sanjay Deshpande and Ms Sanjukta Roy. After a brief interaction with management, the students were guided by quality heads of different departments, who briefed them about the machines, infrastructure, and various activities in the plant. The students also visited the quality labs and got a first-hand view of the different office furniture quality test procedures.

The event successfully ended with a letter of thanks being handed over to the HR, Head by Mechanical Faculty coordinators Prof Namrata Nagpurkar, Prof. Shripad Deo, Prof. Anthony Augustine, and Prof. P.R. Bhagat.
