On August 3rd, 2024, St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology  partnered with Nagpur Sahodaya Schools Complex to host Skill Development Workshops for school students, aiming to spark interest in engineering and technology. The inauguration featured speeches from Fr. Dr. Paul Chandrakunnel, Director of SVPCET, and Dr. Vijay Wadhai, Principal of SVPCET, highlighting the importance of life skills and technical expertise. Prof. Abhranil Banerjee, the workshop coordinator, introduced the objectives and thanked the participating departments. Over 100 students engaged in hands-on workshops led by experienced faculty, gaining foundational knowledge and practical skills in various fields, including Arduino Programming and Circuit Design by Prof. Rohan Vaidya, Vehicle Manufacturing by Prof. Atul Saxena and Dr. V.C. Sontake, IoT by Prof. Rajeshwari Shinde, and 3D Printing by Dr.Ghanshyam Boob & Prof.. Tushar Aneyrao and . The event successfully inspired the next generation of engineers and technologists.
