The department of Civil Engineering, extends special congratulations to the students whose projects have earned the "Best Project" award, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and exceptional achievement. These projects demonstrated creativity, technical skill, and innovation, showcasing the application of knowledge to real-world problems.

The First Prize of Rs. 8000/- was awarded to Mr. Yugandh Bangale and group members for their project "Assessing Concrete Early Strength with Integrated Thermo-Sensor," guided by Dr. Suyog U. Dhote, Assistant Professor, SVPCET, Nagpur. The award was presented by Dr. Kamlesh Madurwar, Assistant Professor, PBCOE, Nagpur.

The Second Prize of Rs. 5000/- was awarded to Mr. Ayush Gawande and group members for their project "Generation of Electricity through Microbial Fuel Cell using Cow Dung and Biodegradable Kitchen Waste," guided by Dr. Abhay G. Hirekhan, Assistant Professor, SVPCET, Nagpur. The award was presented by Dr. Swapneel Satone, Associate Professor, KDKCE, Nagpur.

The Third Prize of Rs. 3000/- was awarded to Ms. Manasvi Asole and group members for their project "Synchronization of Traffic Signals using Spot Speed Studies on Arterial Roads in Nagpur," guided by Prof. Ram P. Kinhikar, Assistant Professor, SVPCET, Nagpur. The award was presented by Dr. Chetan S. Deshpande, Head and Associate Professor, SVPCET, Nagpur.

The awards ceremony took place on 21/05/2024 at 2:30 pm in the Civil Engineering department and was coordinated by Dr. Suyog U. Dhote, class counsellor of the 4th-year 2024 batch. All teaching and non-teaching staff members were present. Certificates of Recognition were awarded to all project participants.
