The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a visit to Anandwan, Warora, under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, on April 6, 2024.

The aim of this visit was to identify projects for our institute's students by discussing with authorities. During this visit, participants were exposed to various society-based activities. A one-hour interaction session led by Dr. Vikas Amte, Chairman of Anandwan, was organised for all participants. A 30-minute documentary film showcasing Anandwan activities was also shown to all students.

During the visit, all participants toured various sections including handloom, Sataranji carpet, bag and cushion section, school for physically handicapped people, craft section, spinning section, etc. Approximately 34 students from various branches participated enthusiastically in this activity. Both participants and faculty members provided a positive feedback about the activity.

Dr. P.S. Nerkar, the faculty coordinator, made sincere efforts to ensure the successful execution of this activity for Mechanical Engineering students.
