Sthaapatya - the Association of Civil Engineering Students and the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) Student’s Chapter of the Civil Engineering Department at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, joyously celebrated "Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti and Vishwakarma Jayanti" on February 22, 2024, paying homage to the influential leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the universe's first architect, Lord Vishwakarma.

During the event, Mr. Kunal Khade, a third-year B-Tech student, shared insights into Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's life, highlighting his forts and battles. Ms. Revti Dabli, also a third-year B-Tech student, provided information about Lord Vishwakarma, the universe's first architect.

Prof. Yogesh S. Lanjewar discussed management principles derived from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's life, and Prof. Ram P. Kinhikar shared inspiring stories, encouraging students to learn valuable qualities from Shivaji Maharaj's life.

Dr. Chetan Deshpande, HOD of the Civil Engineering Department, commended the initiative and urged students to continue organizing such meaningful activities. He emphasized the significance of Vishwakarma Jayanti for engineers, artisans, laborers, and various professionals.

The event, attended by second-year  and  third-year civil engineering students and faculty members, featured Ms. Akshanda Dandare as the Master of Ceremony, with coordination by Prof. Yogesh S. Lanjewar.
