The SAEINDIA Collegiate Club, under the banner of Mechmerise 2k23, successfully organized CAE TechForge on November 3, 2023. The event, dedicated to Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), garnered participation from 31 enthusiastic students, eager to delve into the realm of simulation and analysis.

Faculty Co-ordinators Dr. V.C Sontake and Dr. M.S Khan, alongside Student Co-ordinator Sanchit Fulzele and dedicated volunteers Himanshu Sawarkar, Nidhish Pohane, Shreyansh Khandagle, and Atharava Nimje, played instrumental roles in orchestrating the workshop.

CAE TechForge, a comprehensive workshop, provided participants with essential insights into CAE, industrial applications, and hands-on experience using 'Ansys Workbench' software. Mr. Sanchit Fulzele, a member of team Formula Ashawariders, served as the knowledgeable resource person for the event.

The workshop covered:

• Introduction to CAE, Industrial use of CAE, Contents of the workshop.
• Basics of Physics, Material Properties, Stress-strain Graph, FOS, Thermal Properties, Meshing (Pre-requisites).
• Hands-on experience on ANSYS WORKBENCH: Static Structural, Fatigue, and Thermal Analysis.
• A quiz testing participants' knowledge based on the workshop content.

Following the workshop, a quiz added a competitive edge to the event, with three outstanding participants securing prizes:

• Winner: Mr. Onkar More from SVPCET Nagpur, awarded Rs 800.
• 1st Runner-up: Ms. Shruti Shahane from RKNEC Nagpur, awarded Rs 500.
• 2nd Runner-up: Mr. Sahil Rajankar from SVPCET Nagpur, awarded Rs 200.

CAE TechForge not only equipped participants with valuable skills but also celebrated excellence through the engaging quiz and prize distribution. Mechmerise 2k23 continues to be a platform for fostering engineering knowledge and innovation.
