Expert Visit to SAE Collegiate Teams

During a visit to St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology in Nagpur, Dr. K.C. Vohra, Professor Emeritus and Former Sr. Deputy Director at ARAI, AICTE-INAE Distinguished Visiting Faculty, Chair of ASDC Expert Group on EV, and a specialist in Road Safety, Hydrogen, EV, and Autonomous Mobility, engaged with various SAE teams, including BAJA, Formula Bharat, and E-Formula Bharat.

Dr. Vohra highlighted the importance of team-based activities for enhancing functional, self-management, and specialized knowledge skills, which are crucial for an engineer's career. He praised the dedication of the SAEINDIA Collegiate Team 'the Ashwa Rides' and encouraged their continued participation in mBAJA, emphasizing that it remains a valuable competition. Dr. Vohra also discussed the significance of technical evaluations in events like BAJA and provided insights into safety considerations, which are highly valued in BAJA SAEINDIA events.
