The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering in association with the R-Lab Centre Excellence ,SVPCET had organised an Industrial Visit to V. R. Jamdar Seimens centre of excellence , VNIT Nagpur on 7^th Feb 2023 for students of third year.

Siemens Center of Excellence aims to train Engineering, Diploma students and Faculty on world class Siemens Equipment & Software. The COE provides training by Siemens certified partners. COE benefits the student community immensely as they are trained on the same Equipment / Software that is used by Industry.

During the visit, students visited four labs namely Smart Factory lab, Robotics lav, CNC lab and Internet of Things lab. These labs offer skill development courses and internships to students.The trainer explained how raw material was converted into finished product in an automated way. An automated bottle filling plant was also demonstrated which was monitored using IOT. This visit gave a deep insight into the requirements by Industry 4.0. Students explored various areas in which they can go for internships and were keen to join the courses in near future.
