The Intel® Unnati Grand Challenge-Winter 2022 was held on 16^th January 2023 organised by Intel Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore in collaboration with Institute of Science, Bangalore. St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology received the First Runner-Up Position in Intel® Unnati Grand Challenge-Winter 2022 for work titled “Foreign Object Detection” with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000. The student team members were Rohan Pokale (Final year Civil) and Om Rode, Bhavana Balpande, Prajwal Atkale, Prathamesh Lakhe (All from 3^rd year E&TC). The team was guided by Prof. Mrunalini Buradkar. This was the very first team from Maharashtra who was the first runner up in this challenge.

The team was congratulated by management, Dr. Fr. Paul Chandrankunnel, Director and Dr. Surendra Gole, Principal St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology for their achievement.
