The department of Mechanical Engineering had organized an induction program for the students of 3rd semester on 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th of November-2022, between 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The program was coordinated by Prof. Ramanuj N. Chakraborty. The key features of the program are given below:

3^rd  of November-2022

Dr. Pramod B. Lanjewar, Head of the Department, welcomed all the students to the department. He shared his engineering experiences and guided the students to be the technocrats of tomorrow.

Prof. Ramanuj N Chakraborty, as  Class Counselor, addressed the students and made them aware of the academic culture of the department. Dr. Amit Bhende, Academic Coordinator of the department, detailed out about the academic conduction, scheme of examination, incentive marks and CGPA/ SGPA calculations in his address. Prof. Saifulla Khan shared the details regarding Co & Extra curricular activities conducted in the department.

4^th of November-2022

Students were made aware about all the collegiate clubs in the department by the respective club incharges. Dr. Ghanshyam Boob of  Design Club, Dr. Athar Hayat of Automation Club, Dr. Milind Kshirsagar of ISHRAE, Dr. V. C. Sontake of SAE and Prof. Pramod Borle of NSS shared the details of the activities carried out under their respective clubs.

5^th of November-2022

Prof. K.R.Borakhade, gave the details of activities conducted by the Training and placement cell of the Institute along with the expectations of the cell from students who are willing to go through the institutes placement process.

Finally, the students visited all the laboratories of the department and the workshop.
