A three day visit from 27th– 29th Feb 2020, to ACREX’20 was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering for their ISHRAE Students Chapter members. This was hosted at the Indian Expo Centre, IEML, Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR. Thirty two students; 13 from 8th semester and 19 from 6th semester were accompanied by Prof. Atul Saxena for this exhibition.

‘ACREX’ is South Asia’s largest exhibition on Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation and Intelligent Buildings, annually organised by ISHRAE and endorsed by ASHRAE, in collaboration with SANHUA, DAIKIN, DANFOSS, VOLTAS LTD, HAIER and HITACHI BREATH EASY.  ACREX’20, was the 21st edition of this mega-event spread over 8 acres, 500+ exhibitors and 50,000+ visitors from more than 20 different countries.

Concurrent activities included Workshops, Seminar, Interactive Panel Discussions, Students Quiz: AQUEST, Curtain Raiser, ACREX Awards of Excellence & ACREX Hall of Fame. Modern technologies were exhibited through products, prototypes and display presentations. The visit helped students become aware of advancements in technologies and exploring career opportunities in the field of HVAC.
