The NSS Unit at St.Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology,Nagpur, undertook a Relief Project in the villages it has adopted, Dhuti (Dongargaon),Gavsi Manapur,Panjri(Lodhi), and Parsodi in collaboration with Pallotti Bread, a social initiative of Nagpur Pallottine Society.

75 BPL families without ration cards were identified and were provided with Ration packs consisting of food grains, pulses, spices and cooking oil.

The food packets were distribution in the college premises on 4^th October 2021, in the presence of Fr. Siju Jose, The Financial Administrator and Prof. Manish Gudadhe, Coordinator, Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science).

This activity was coordinated by the Gram Panchayats of the respective villages and the project was funded and supported by Pallotti Bread, an initiative which supports BPL and marginalized families without ration cards.

Dr. Ashlesha Nagpure, NSS Program officer, Prof.Pramodkumar J.Borle,  Prof.Yogesh Lanjewar, Dr.Hema Kale NSS Department Faculty Co-ordinator,and the non-teaching staff, actively engaged themselves in this project.
