The Department of Civil Engineering oorganized a training programme on Total Station and GPS for surveying for Third Year Civil Engineering students on 17/10/2026

The students were trained by Dr. Sarang Paranjape and his team from imaGIS, Nagpur. Students were trained on the usage of GPS and Total Station and the data processing of the same.  

The students learnt about how effectively survey can be conducted using GPS and Total Station and how the data can be extracted to AutoCAD to plot the coordinates.

Mr. Ram Kinhikar accompanied the students for the training.
