“SAEINDIA COLLEGIATE CLUB” of Mechanical Engineering department conducted  online Alumni interaction on  “ Sharing ATV  Building Experiences” on  Saturday , 23^rd January 2021. Mr. Deep Atkare and Mr. Satayki Mondal  , graduates of year 2014 were the resource persons. Mr. Deep is currently working as design engineer in BENTELER Steel /Tube since Sep 2018 and Mr. Satayki is in private sector.   Mr. Deep Atkare was captain and Mr. Satyaki Mondal was vice captain of “Team Ashwariders” , the inception team of SAEINDIA Collegiate club. Team Ashwariders, under their leadership participated in the “Delta Shootout -2014, an ATV based competition”  held at NIT Jamshedpur and secured overall 1^st rank/ 15 teams  and won cash prizes of worth rs 300000/- . The Interaction started with brief introduction about both the alumni  and recent activities being carried out under SAEINDAI Collegiate club. Both the fellows, shared their experiences of designing and developing their first ATV  Blackstallion -1 , the challenges they faced and overcome, fond memories associated during design and manufacturing stages and during competitions. They also gave valuable feedbacks on various aspects of vehicle building to the current SAE BAJA team. They interacted with every team members , particularly one to one with junior most students  and motivated , explained the importance of the part of the team in their future career and  congratulated for taking part in the activity. They were feeling nostalgic about their college days at pallotti. The interaction ended with the promise from both of them to visit department and SAE team for motivation and guidance. Dr.V.C. Sontake and Prof. M.S. Khan, faculty Advisers of the club, coordinated the interaction.
