Alumni Interaction

The Department of Civil Engineering organized an Alumni Interaction Session on date 09/09/2026 by Ms. Madhulika Sargaonkar, Batch 2023 to provide students with valuable insights into academic and professional life. She shared her journey from Engineering to post-graduation and her current workplace, highlighting her experiences, challenges, and key learning throughout her career.

She discussed the importance of strong technical fundamentals, continuous learning, practical exposure, communication skills, and professional development. She also provided students with an overview of the career opportunities available in Civil Engineering, including construction, infrastructure, consultancy, design, project management, research, and higher education.

The interaction was highly engaging, with 55 students actively participating and seeking guidance on higher studies, career planning, and industry expectations. The alumna encouraged students to develop relevant technical and professional skills and remain updated with emerging trends in the field.

Overall, the session was informative, interactive, and motivating, giving students practical career guidance and a better understanding of opportunities in the Civil Engineering profession. The session was coordinated by Dr. Satish D. Kene and Prof. Yogesh S. Lanjewar
