Drug-Free Awareness & National Drug-Free Pledge Programme
The Student Council, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized the Drug-Free Awareness & National Drug-Free Pledge Programme on 7th August 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Multifacility Centre (MFC). The programme was conducted as part of the nationwide 10 Crore Drug-Free Pledge Mega Campaign to promote awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage students to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.
The programme was attended by students from the Second Year and Third Year. Representatives and guests from Brahma Kumaris were also present and actively participated in the programme. They interacted with the students and contributed to creating awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, positive thinking, self-discipline, and staying away from substance abuse.
Students were sensitized to their individual and collective responsibility in creating a healthy and drug-free environment within the institution and society. The central activity of the programme was the National Drug-Free Pledge, in which the participating students pledged to remain free from drugs and support the vision of a healthy, responsible, and drug-free society.
The active participation of the Brahma Kumaris representatives, faculty members, and students contributed to the success of the programme. The initiative successfully fostered awareness, social responsibility, and a strong commitment among students towards building a drug-free India.
