Java Programming Hands-on Workshop
The Department of Industrial IoT organized a “Java Programming Hands-on Workshop” from 03rd to 07th August 2026 from 09:00 a.m. to 04:15 p.m. in BF-10 Classroom for the 7th Semester students. The objective of the workshop was to strengthen students' Java programming skills, develop Object-Oriented Programming concepts, enhance problem-solving abilities, and prepare students for technical interviews and campus placement coding assessments through practical exercises, coding challenges, and industry-oriented learning.
The resource persons for the workshop were Mr. Animesh Tayal and Mr. Yash Mishra from CodingMitra Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur. They are experienced industry professionals with expertise in Java programming, software development, coding interview preparation, and technical training. Throughout the workshop, they guided students through fundamental and advanced Java concepts using interactive coding sessions and real-world programming examples.
The Java Programming Hands-on Workshop commenced with a warm welcome by our Head of Department, Dr. M. Shriraghavan. The workshop was conducted over five days, providing intensive practical training to the students. The experts covered Java programming fundamentals, Object-Oriented Programming concepts, Java Collections Framework, Exception Handling, and problem-solving techniques. Students actively participated in hands-on coding exercises, programming challenges.
The Java Programming Hands-on Workshop was successfully organized by Prof. Rohan Vaidya, Prof. Rajeshwari Shinde, and Prof. Snehal Shingode. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the presentation of mementos as a token of appreciation to the resource persons.
