The Department of Information Technology, under the NSS Unit, organized a meaningful Kargil Vijay Diwas Commemoration on 28^th July 2026 at Block B, Ground Floor, to honour the valour and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil War. The event was coordinated by Dr. Priti Uparkar and Dr. Ashelsha Nagpure.

The ceremony commenced with a floral tribute led by the Director, Fr. Dr. Paul Chandrankunnel, followed by the Principal, Dr. Prashant Maheshwary, who also offered flowers in honour of the martyrs. This was followed by a one-minute silence to pay tribute to their sacrifice. In his address, the Director highlighted the courage, patriotism, and selfless dedication of the Indian soldiers.

Aryan Chaudhari, a fourth-year student, delivered a heartfelt speech highlighting the sacrifices of the Indian Army and inspiring a strong sense of national pride among the attendees.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem. The NSS Unit expressed its sincere gratitude to the Management, Dr. Ashelsha Nagpure, Dr. Priti Uparkar, and the faculty members, Dr. Sachin. Nagmote, Prof. Shilpa. Kawale, Prof. Ashish. Dhandekar, Prof Snehal Awachat and Dr. P. Nerkar for their valuable contribution, support, and leadership.
