The Department of Electrical Engineering recently organized a “Five-Day Skill Development Program on Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical” for the students of the 5th Semester Electrical Engineering, held from 3rd August 2026 to 7th August 2026. The program was conducted by ASTRAL Informatics (P) Ltd.

The training focused on providing students with practical, hands-on exposure to Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical, enabling them to develop essential technical skills relevant to modern electrical engineering practices. During the program, students were introduced to fundamental tools and features of AutoCAD Electrical used in electrical wiring system design, electrical panel design, preparation of electrical drawings, report generation, and technical presentations.

The primary objective of the program was to enhance students’ industry-oriented technical competencies and familiarize them with professional design practices. As AutoCAD Electrical is widely utilized by industries involved in electrical panel manufacturing, control systems, and electrical design, the training provided students with valuable practical knowledge aligned with current industry requirements.

The training program was fully sponsored by the college. The response of the students was highly enthusiastic with 100 % participation by the students throughout 5 days of training.The program was coordinated by Dr. Sumant A. Sarmokadam and Mr. Manoj. B. Maurya.
