The Department of Electrical Engineering organized an Industry Training Program under the Skill Development Activity for 7th Semester Electrical Engineering students. The training was conducted from 03^rd August to 07^th August 2026, covering a total of 30 hours.

The industries involved in this program were KEC International, MIDC Butibori Nagpur; Electric Loco Shed, Ajni Nagpur; and Bajaj Steel Industries, MIDC Hingana Nagpur. A total of 71 students participated in the training, engaging in plant visits, observing industrial operations, and enhancing their practical skills.

The initiative provided valuable exposure to real‑world electrical engineering applications, strengthened the link between classroom learning and industrial practice, and enriched both students and faculty with updated knowledge and professional readiness.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Prafull Madhukar Tarwatkar and co‑coordinated by Dr. Pravin S. Pisal, with Dr. J. P. Rothe (Head of Department) and Prof. N. P. Mendhe serving as faculty representatives. All four faculty members also undertook training at the respective industries, ensuring strong academic–industry collaboration.
