Campus placements are not won on the day of the interview—they are earned through months of preparation, reflection, and continuous improvement. With this philosophy, the Career Development Centre in collaboration with the III Cell of the College once again organized a comprehensive Mock Interview Process with Industry Experts for the Batch of 2027 from 13th–18th & 21st–22nd July 2026, following a structured series of Employability Enhancement Training sessions right from the second year onwards.

The initiative witnessed the participation of 666 final-year students, who were assessed by 28 industry experts representing leading organizations across IT and core engineering sectors such as Infosys, Infocepts, Pinnacle Teleservices Pvt. Ltd., GlobalLogic, HCL, TCS, Perficient, Akamai Technologies, Circullence, Ambe Tech. Pvt. Ltd., Bootcoding Pvt. Ltd., Enggrs. Lab, Tecxtra, Hixaa Tech, Welmet Tech. Pvt. Ltd., THREEH Systems Pvt. Ltd., MahaGenco, Johnson Lifts, NPTI, MSEB, MOIL, E-Struct Consulting Engineers, Studio Eleven, etc.

Each student underwent a personalized interview, during which resumes, technical self-introductions, domain knowledge, problem-solving ability, communication skills, professional attitude, and overall employability were evaluated.

Through detailed feedback, students gained an authentic understanding of industry expectations, identified areas for improvement, and developed a clear roadmap for placement preparation. The programme reaffirmed the Career Development Centre's commitment to creating meaningful industry-academia engagement and equipping students with the confidence, competence, and professional mindset required to succeed in today's dynamic workplace.

The Mock PI was coordinated by Prof. Sonia M Francis, Training & Skilling Coordinator, CDC, Prof. Kunal Onkar, III Cell Coordinator under the mentorship of Dr. Ghanshyam Boob, Associate Dean, CDC and Dr. Shiju Samuel, TPO, CDC.
