The Department of Engineering, Sciences and Humanities organized a felicitation ceremony on 30th April, 2026 to honor the winners of the National Science Day Quiz on Environment, which was conducted on 28 February 2026.

A total of 39 first-year students from various branches were recognized for their outstanding performance in the quiz. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and scientific thinking among students, in alignment with the spirit of National Science Day.

Certificates were presented by Fr. Dr. Paul Chandrakunnel, Director of the Institute, and Fr. Stanly Wilson, who congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to continue engaging in such academic and co-curricular activities.

The quiz was coordinated by Dr. Suchita Nimbalkar, and the felicitation event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Smita Tolani, Head of the Department. Faculty members and students were present at the ceremony, making it a proud and memorable occasion. The event not only celebrated the students’ achievements but also reinforced the department’s commitment to fostering awareness of important global issues such as environmental sustainability.
