Graduation Ceremony 2026 - First batch under autonomy at SVPCET

St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology (SVPCET), Nagpur, proudly hosted its Graduation Ceremony 2026 on Saturday, 18th April 2026, marking a significant academic milestone for its graduating students. The ceremony held special importance as it celebrated the successful graduation of the first batch under autonomy, reinforcing the institute’s commitment to academic excellence and progressive education.

A total of 410 students registered to be part of this prestigious occasion, representing a diverse range of disciplines including B.Tech programs in ETC, AI, CE, ME, EE, Civil, IT, and CSE (Data Science), along with B.Voc programs in Software Development, Cyber Security, and VR & AR.

The ceremony commenced with the formal academic procession, followed by a solemn scripture reading and prayer. The traditional lighting of the lamp symbolized the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. The event was gracefully anchored by Prof. Sonia Francis, who welcomed the gathering.

The Director, Dr. Fr. Paul Chandrankunnel, delivered the Welcome Address, setting the tone for the ceremony by emphasizing the institute’s vision of holistic education and human excellence. The distinguished dignitaries were then welcomed, followed by insightful addresses from the Guest of Honor, Dr. Pramod Padole, Former Director of VNIT Nagpur, and the Chief Guest, Dr. Manali Kshirsagar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of RTM Nagpur University.

The Chief Guest administered the Graduation Pledge, reinforcing the ethical and professional responsibilities of the graduating students.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the Academic Medal Distribution, where meritorious students were honored with Gold and Silver Medals for their outstanding academic achievements. This was followed by the formal conferment of degrees to students across M.Tech, B.Tech, and B.Voc programs, marking the culmination of their academic journey.

The event concluded with the felicitation of guests, a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. Abhranil Banerjee, and the National Anthem. The ceremony transitioned into moments of celebration with group photographs, candid interactions, and a networking lunch.
