30-Hour Industrial Training Program for Faculty at Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd.
St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, in collaboration with the Departments of Electrical, Electronics, and Industrial IoT, organized a 30-hour industrial training program at Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd., conducted under the Process Automation Engineering Group (PAEG) from 16 to 18 March 2026. The training was undertaken as part of handholding support for the upcoming Hitachi IIoT Lab, which is planned for multidisciplinary utilization across various departments.
The training program on “Hitachi Control System and HX Controller” was attended by Mr. Kunal Anil Onkar, Dr. Pravin Subhash Pisal, Dr. Prafull Madhukar Tarwatkar, Mrs. Shradha Varun Banode, Dr. Shiju Samuel, Dr. Amol W. Pardhi, and Mr. Tushar A. Aneyrao. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Vivek Tiwari (Assistant Manager), Mr. Sushil Dhote (Senior Executive), and Mr. Shubham Paliwal (Assistant Manager), who provided valuable practical insights into control system architecture, system configuration, and real-time industrial applications, thereby enhancing the participants’ understanding of modern automation technologies.
The training proved to be highly beneficial, significantly strengthening the technical knowledge of the participating faculty members in control systems and industrial automation. It is expected to contribute to the effective establishment and utilization of the IIoT Lab, while also supporting improved teaching practices, promoting research initiatives, and enabling industry-oriented learning experiences for students across multiple disciplines.
